Behzad Jeddi
Director of research
Behzad Jeddi teaches economics at DMACC and conducts research at Iowa State University, where he is completing a PhD in Economics. His work lies at the intersection of agricultural and environmental economics and network theory, examining how land use, production systems, and ecological linkages influence economic and policy outcomes. Methodologically, he integrates panel data, causal inference, and geospatial/network analysis to generate evidence that informs decisions on agriculture and environmental quality.
As Director of Research at IPEK Center, Behzad Jeddi oversees research design, data strategy, and analytical standards across projects. He leads the development of survey instruments, guides data analysis, and ensures methodological consistency in IPEK’s research outputs. Behzad also coordinates research collaboration within the organization and with external partners, ensuring that IPEK’s work meets academic and applied research standards.
