IPEK Center Literature Review Series: Azerbaijanis in Iran
IPEK Center is launching a literature review project focused on topics that are often overlooked or insufficiently documented. The purpose of the project is to collect and organize existing scholarship in an accessible way to create a reliable reference point for readers interested in these issues. Each review will be treated as an ongoing publication rather than a one-time document. Reviews will be revisited and updated annually to reflect newly published sources and themes helping maintain an up-to-date and usable body of literature over time.
This review is IPEK’s first in a literature review series on national groups in Iran. The current document focuses on the social status of Azerbaijanis in Iran and is intended as a starting point for similar reviews on other national communities.
